  What we do - Consultation

"Community engagement is critical to effective, transparent and accountable governance in the public, community and private sectors."
Extract of the United Nations Declaration on Community Engagement, Brisbane, 2005

Monica Redden Consultancy (MRC) designs innovative consultation strategies that aim to achieve balanced and well-informed contribution through effective engagement.

MRC is recognised for designing and delivering effective programs, ranging from consultation within an organisation, to broader community-based consultation and engagement projects with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Services range from developing and implementing full-scale strategies and action plans to drive consultation processes, creating supporting information and communication materials, designing awareness and media programs, and setting up reporting systems to ensure the findings from consultation are integrated into future deliberations and planning.

MRC has designed and managed consultation processes for clients involved in engineering and manufacturing, farming, small business, skills training, State and Commonwealth government agencies and large corporate bodies.  Strategies are based on the International Public Participation Consultation framework, in particular the consultation continuum starting from informing through to collaborating and empowering.
