Renato has over 20 years of experience in workplace consulting, including facilitating and coaching of managers at senior levels in organisations. He is a clinical and industrial psychologist who has worked with Australasian and multi-national corporations as a facilitator, consultant and corporate coach.

Renato is co-founder and Director of Optima Business Group and managed Optima's employee assistance services until that service was discontinued in 2006. He was a member of the Executive of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Australia, and Chair of the Ethics Committee from 2002-2005.  Renato understands the needs of both the organisation and of the individual employee.

Since 2004, Renato has focussed on leadership coaching, providing both group and individual coaching for organisations such as Queensland Alumina Ltd, Woolworths Ltd, Mission Australia, BP Australia, Transfield Services, Optus, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Oracle Corporation and the Women's and Children's Hospital.

Renato is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a qualified mediator. He is also an accredited facilitator and accredited coach for the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire – one of the most empirically researched leadership tools based on the work of Bass & Avolio.
